Wednesday playdate

We had Tassie's friend Addi and her Mum come to our place for a playdate today. Tassie started the day demurely, with her little apron on, helping me make Anzac biccies and being ever so sweet and helpful.

It didn't last long, once her friend arrived! The quiet times sitting at the table and making Christmas cards were punctuated with let's-go-crazy-and-jump-on-the-couch sessions.

I found a terrific site on the internet here with suggestions for making a really simple Christmas advent calendar. We didn't have one growing up, but I can really see the value of one with small children, where you can put an activity in each day, while helping them count down the sleeps til Christmas. I'm doing mine today.
