Tuesday - new space of my own

This is the wonderful new kitchen bench that Fave has built (thanks IKEA house!). When I stood back to admire it, all I could think was, why didn't we do this years ago? We can't renovate for at least two more years, and I've badly needed a space for myself during the day the children can't reach. It's the perfect place, where i can keep an eye on them in the next room but fiddle with a scrapbook layout for 10 minutes. Happy days! It's messy right now but that's real life, isn't it?
